'03 Dynasty slideout hydraulic ram leak

'03 Dynasty has hydraulic leaks with the 2 front slides. Small local shop states that it needs new hydraulic rams and some hoses, but they can't do the work since the slides apparently need to be removed and they don't have a capability for slide removal.

Does having to remove the slides to replace the rams sound correct?

Can the rams be rebuilt rather than replaced?

Any words of wisdom appreciated!

Hi Mike; I don't have that info, but just recently an owner in this forum had to have his rams rebuilt. He has an 2000 Dynasty. He did not have to remove the slides. Try using the search box in the top right of this page for info on rebuilding the hydraulic slide rams on a 2000 Monaco Dynasty. The gentlemen's name is Dennis and he did a great write up on the whole job. You will find his information very interesting.

You don't have to remove the slides, but you may have an slight issue removing the rams if you have slides on both sides of your coach. All the info you need is here in this link.
