03 monaco monarch rear factory sway bar bushings!!!

OK looking around on my 03 monaco monarch the other day and noticed my rear factory sway bar bushing where gone! Like one of them looked like it had melted and the other was gone and so was the u bracket that held it on. So I ordered kit rm-4139-125 from etrailer wich is the kit for it. Got it in and the actual bushings have a slit in them to go over the sway bar but the bushings seem a little big. like you can see a little bit of a gap around them and the sway bar. I havent bolted them up completely. How tight are they supposed to be? If these are not right where is the best place to get the bushings????? How big of a diff will the new bushings have on handling and ride?? She rides awful with alot of sway and back and forth.

There should be no gap between the bar and the bushings.
I prefer to buy my parts at a truck suspension shop.
E trailer is a good company but are at the mercy of the supplier.

Your best bet would be to contact E Trailer.
I am sure they will help you resolve your issue.

Now in a pinch you can cut some material from the slot to tighten up the bushing. I have done this with some success.
But if you are not familiar with suspensions I would suggest you contact the experts!

Does anyone know what size sway bar it actually is? The kit was for an 1-1/2" bar and I havent had a chance to check it yet with a mic.

Here's the ones I got for my 04 chassis Monaco Monarch. Like yours the originals were completely gone but the brackets were ok. These were recommended on these forums.

I did mic my bar last sept when I did this, but my memory doesn't let me recall the size.
