Have removed one wire from this ASCO shut off valve and nothing changes. Tapped it a little, then a lot and still no difference. Talked to Monaco Tech Support. They "think" it has to do with this valve but no one could explain the lack of water using the pump. Unless pump is bad also.

From what I can see, that Asco valve is on a branch, not a run (the part that goes to the house) and it should function to fill the tank. How many tubing connections are there on the solenoid valve? Two? or Three?
Here is another way to try to get pressure to the house. 1. You are connected to city water via your reel hose, correct? 2. Disconnect from shore power. 3. Turn both battery banks off using the battery disconnect switches, mine are in the rear run bay just behind the tag axle.
See if you now have water pressure at your sinks. By turning off the batteries, you are removing 12v power from the solenoid. If that fixes your water pressure, the solenoid is in the auto fill position and allowing water into your tank. Try hitting the auto fill switch again, after you restore power to the coach.
To get you down the road, you can bypass the whole shebang using some 1/2" PEX pipe and sharkbite fittings from HD.

Bill,
Beginning to rain here so my trouble shooting is limited. Going to rest my thinking cap and grab a bite to eat. Flushing toilet with bucket and cooking with bottled water so it's not like I'm stranded. Thanks for your help, if you have more ideas I'm willing to try them.
Doug

Doug, you said no water at the filters. Work backward from the filters until you find blockage.
I would take the plumbing apart around the solenoid valve and check the long grey t fitting for blockage. Looking at your photo, loosen the three white nuts you can see in the photo. Take the whole thing out and see if you can blow thru the grey T from where the white reinforced hose connects to where the blue PEX pipe exits toward the top left. If that long funny shaped grey T is clear, you'll have to follow the PEX to your filters to see if you have a blockage.
Sometimes just some excess teflon tape can get in a fitting and block it.
It looks to me like the white reinforced hose is the city water from the hose reel.
Might be a check valve in that long, funny shaped T.
If you have a shurflow water pump, there is a small screw centered in the pump head you can turn in 1 turn or so to increase pressure. Except for a blockage in the T or some other fitting, I'm running out of ideas.

If I missed this suggestion earlier I apologize but is your pump actually pumping? Is there water getting to the pump?

Bill,
Problem solved. Turned out to be a series of events. First problem, check valve located at the bottom of the grey T, failed shutting off water supply from spigot. Pump continued to run until it cleared the lines of water. Apparently this caused an air lock in the lines and the pump could no longer build pressure to bring water from tank. When I removed the check valve to inspect, you could tell it was stuck shut, but, apparently removing the check valve cleared the air lock. When I put the check valve back in the line to see if I had freed it up it still did not work on the water coming from the spigot, however the pump began delivering water from the tank as it is suppose to. Back in business and will be ordering "two" check valves to activate the supply of fresh water from the spigot. The ASCO shut off valve works (you can hear it activate) but until new check valve is installed water can not enter the water tank via the auto fill. Thank you so much for all your help and suggestions in trying to determine the problem. And thank you to all. the other kind folks who responded to my post.

For the want of a nail! Good job Doug and best wishes!
Did you check to see if you can tell if the auto fill is working on your Aladdin screen?

Great, now at least you know the autofill is working! Hope the rest of your trip is without drama!

My 2009 Knight 41 DFT water system had a troubled pump inlet check valve. The plastic nipple used to adapt to Pex fittings was screwed too deeply into the brass body. With this defect the valve acted like a check valve one way, and a hydraulic fuse the otherway. The pump was fed only a tiny flow, but appeared to function normally...if you only required a cup of water at a time. I am the new owner of this machine. The original owner either must have only used city water,as it works fine. This had to have been a congenital error.
