08 40 SKQ need roof pic

Hi All,

I have a 2008 HR Ambassador 40SKQ. Like a dummy I forgot to take a picture of my roof when I had the opportunity. I need to clear the snow off and wondered if anyone had a picture so I'd know where I need to be more cautious.

TIA
Dean

Anything? Anybody? Guess it's not as common as I thought.

OK, I'll try to crawl up there in the AM for a few pictures.

Now if you really want some information on the SKQ I can give you a link to download over 5GB of information gathered over the years on ours since new. Factory cd's are in them.

It took a long long time to rename their numerical files into files with useful names and then to categorize them into folders.

In many files are references gathered over the years.

I'd certainly appreciate some pics! You reminded me about the link to files. You already PM'd me a link. I'm heading there now. It's a good cold day for some reading/viewing

Thanx!

Pics

Here are some pictures. Hope they help.
Yeah, it looks like time to do some cleaning again.

I painted the skylight years ago with white paint to reduce the tremendous heat build up. Some has come off but I like it that way. The blotchiness helps prevent me from making a dumb step and breaking it.

The roof has been resealed over the years and the last time I used Eternabond around everything. It works great and is easy to clean. The large black thing in the middle is a carrier that was used to store long fishing poles etc.

The solar is around 150 watts of power but I do not remember without looking it up.

The vents are covered and in Central Florida we often use them so they can be opened when it rains, which is about every day in the Summer.

The vent has a commonly used device to turn into the wind and vent both tanks.

The crank up antenna no longer sports the batwing. The king antenna has been a good antenna.

The Traveler was installed in place of the in motion one that came with the RV. I sold the old one easily. The Traveler was converted to SWM at some point. I don't remember. So many changes over the years.

If you clean snow off roof with a broom you will locate everything on the roof without damaging it

Well thanks to all! I did get the roof cleared off. 6" of heavy wet ice/snow combo. Was super careful and nothing was affected except my back Took a while as I'm just getting over pneumonia and I had to stop often to get my breath. Glad I got it done. I told my SO that next year winterizing is leaving before all this foul weather starts and try to enjoy this beast!

I have to add, I still forgot to take pictures once cleared. There is no hope for me
