08 Diplomat 36pdq Windshield Shade Fuse
We accidentally pushed both passenger shade switches and it stopped. Went to front electrical panel and the fuse panel label says C402(D) 6-9 Sunvisor fuse size 5. I have checked all the five amp fuses, and none are blown, but the location 6-9 does not help me find anything. Is there anyone that has crossed this bridge before? Thanks for any direction.

I can't help you on location. I know on mine, it's front electrical panel. Several people on this site have replaced that fuse with a re-settable fuse. There is a thread on it somewhere. On some of the monaco coaches, when you push both switches at the same time, you're actually shorting out the circuit, not necessarily overload the 5 amp fuse.

Thanks for the response, I will look deeper to see if any other fuse is open, and will review the switches. The Diplomat has been with us about 16 months so I am still in traing! Have a great day, tomorrow will be warm and then I will go after it again. Thanks

Backdoor,
The nomenclature can be confusing. You are actually looking for fuse F9 in the front run bay under the drivers window. You must remove the black plastic cover that is held in place by three nylon wingnuts. The fuse F9 is at the top right corner of the circuit board. I am the individual who got tired of stopping at a rest stop to change that fuse because the wife and I would push the passenger shade switch at the same time. That always results in a blown fuse because of the way the switches are wired. I replaced it with a 10 amp self-resetting breaker fuse. Ten amps was the lowest amperage I could find. If you look in the photo I have attached you will see the 10 amp breaker fuse beside a 15 amp breaker fuse installed in position F8. The sun-visor fuse is F9. Someone may have replaced it with a larger size than 5 amps thinking that would solve the problem. Not so because a direct short will draw what ever the necessary current to blow the fuse. It could be a 40 amp and would still blow.

Thanks Bob. I went straight to the fuse location. It had been changed out to a 7.5 amp. Changed it out. Quick fix. Thanks again, happy trails.
