08 HR warning light or low windshield washer fluid?

Hi All,

My 08 HR Ambassador 40SKQ shows a "Warning" light on far left side of indicators. Manual shows far left side should say "Low Wash". This just came on and wash tank was half full. I filled it, but no change on light. Now I"m concerned that the indicator lights aren't referenced correctly and I have an engine problem. It's in garage now for oil change and yearly inspection so I can't double check lights when key is first turned on to see if I have a warning light elsewhere as indicated. Currently lit is 16 windshield washer fluid is low, but number 6 is engine warning. 6. WARNING: Out of range condition exists within the engine protection circuits. Have the motorhome serviced as soon as possible. See attached picture.

Anyone with similar light setup?

Thanx - Dean

Tried to edit this post, but no option.

Title was misleading and should've specified windshield washer fluid and not coolant. Sorry.

This is from my 49 SKQ, Endeavor as previous poster.

Since you were low on fluid I would check the wires that go to the tank as well as visiting the tank again. Mine developed a crack and even though you filled it there could be a loss again.

Once you find the wires to the washer fluid tank unplug them and see if the warning light goes out. It might not but if it does you will have proved the light is associated with the reservoir.

That looks just like mine, but instead of lighting up "low wash" mine lit up "warning". Further testing to ensue.

Thanks all!

In my case I'm sure it will and this $800 fix will probably lead to more :(

Well speed sensor solved warning light issue, but after review the indicator lights are not as displayed in owners manual. They are rearranged. Guess these changes didn't make it to manual updates. Hmm... what else? :(
