08 ISL 425hp cummins lift pump

I had a 400ISL in a 03 Dynasty that I upgraded to a Fass lift pump that ran all the time. Does anyone know if the ISL 425hp lift pump runs all the time or if there is any benefits from installing an aftermarket fuel pump. Is there any other things that I should be concerned about or plan to upgrade.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure your coach doesn't have a CAPS system, I think that was only for a few years in the very early 2000s.

If you don't have one create an account on the Cummins Quickserve site.
https://quickserve.cummins.com/info/index.html
They've changed the way you have to create an account so you will have to work through it, you may have to call them.
But it is worth it. The site will enable you get a lot of information on your engine including parts, maintenance, and trouble shooting guides.

You can see the fuel system and see if you do have a lift pump, I am not sure, at some point Cummins abandoned the CAPS pump.
