If both have 3 slides, the one with opposing slides in the front will be much more roomy than one with opposing slides only in the bedroom.

In 04 Monaco was at the top of the heap; who made the Mandalay?
Keep inmind there is a reason the why the spread is as close as it is.

I have a Mandalay Presidio 360 2008 38E. It has three slides with one being full wall slide. We love it. In fact we just sold our home to go full time in it.

I suspect the 08 Mandalay is going to depreciate more than the 04 Diplomat. Look both over carefully and drive them, then decide.

04 monaco dip/3slide

purchased an 04 38ft 3 slide dip last july for over 10k less from what you stated, low miles (32k) updated flat screens (3) upgraded day night shades, front power shade, love the coach. 330hp ISC 8-9 mpg (west coast) drove a mandalay last july, monaco drove better, less side wind corrections needed, plus it was very quiet vs the mandalay. ) 04/05 monaco was on top of the heap.....heated tanks, great chassis. We had 2 fleetwoods, and 2 monaco's no turning back.
