We have been looking for a new motorhome for the past 12 months. At first we were just looking but are now serious buyers. In the beginning I looked at Revolution Le and Tiffin. The Rev is nice but lacks some key features. The Tiffin is also very nice but I live too far away from red bay!! I have also considered a 2000 to 2003 Bluebird but so far have not seen one that was in prime condition. Today I looked at an O8 Dynsaty and was really impressed. The wood work, fit and finish are top of the line. Paint ranks with the best out there. I drove it and although it rode nicely I found it neede a lot of corections. The steering seemed very stiff. It was as if the steering box needed adjustment or maybe it was out of line. Is this a common problem? This unit was loaded with aqua hot , all the upgraded electronics to the tune of about $46,000 in options. I do have a few questions: Are there any known problems with this unit? How many regional service facilities does Monaco have? How long do you have to wait to get in? Any other hints or tips appreciated. Thanks

The Dynasty is top notch, it's actually the best value for the dollar coach that Monaco has, along with the Beaver/HR counter parts. I use to have a 2007 Dynasty (Diamond IV) which I really liked. It drove good and had almost all of the options. The coach served us well last year. I just traded it in on a 2008 Signature is the only reason I don't still have it. Of the coaches you mentioned I think the Dynasty will be your best bet.

Monaco has 3 service centers, OR, Indiana, and Wildwood in Fla. I've never had any problems getting into the Indiana center.

As far as the ride goes I can only speak for my 2007 Dynasty, and I would rate it pretty darn close to my Lexus 430. Matter of fact I liked driving it so well I had a tendency to drive late into the night before I would stop...

Moisheh...
Welcome to iRV2! I am quite excited for you and your new purchase...I really have no idea how you will be able to wait patiently for two weeks!

I hope you allow me to add some of that special "Monaco Owners Karma" by your name on the left side...it is the only "instant Karma" that you can get. All you have to say is "Karma Please"...and it is yours.

Again....welcome to iRV2...we hope you visit and post often!

Thx. for the good wishes. We have been rving for 38 years and have had everything from a 12.5 ft. trialer to pull trailers,5th wheels, MH's and truck campers. This is our first Monaco product. Have had HR trailers, a Vogue and our last was a Bounder DP. We do have a 1988 Classsic Bluebird as well. I am sure you Monaco afficiendos will like this: I wa actually shopping for another Bluebird. Maybe an 01 or 02. Couldnt find anything I liked and came across this Dynasty. Love at first site! Of course it is not a Bluebird but for a plastic MH it appears to be well built, tastefull and a nice layout. I have a million questions but will hold back for a while. MAMA; Go ahead with the Karma. I havent had any since the 60's!!!

You now have all the "Monaco Karma" you could ever want...and I am now going to ask the "Mama-type" questions...what is the paint /interior color schemes AND what wood did you get??
