rvfun,
It sounds like you have already done quite a bit of research, so it is difficult to understand what you are looking for. Since 2007 Beaver coaches have been built in Colburg and basically have the same chassis and frame and exterior of the higher end Monaco coaches.
What distinguishes Beaver coaches now is the interior woodwork. The Patriot and Marquis lines have definitely better cabinets than most coaches: dovetail joints in the drawers, "floating" inserts in the cabinet doors (they float the inserts on nails to stop cracking the frames) and very nice finishes. Of course, one of the unique features of the Marquis is the burl cabinet door inserts and the high-gloss finish. The drawer hardware is also very rugged so it really stands up. The Marquis also has (or at least had) additional insulation in the endcaps for better heat control.
Another thing to keep in mind is that Catepillar (for whatever reason) has decided to stop making engines for on-road use, so you may want to look for a unit with a Cummins power plant.
Nothing beats just going to various dealers and looking at units and inspecting for the features and functions that are important to you. You can get some basic information from Beaver's website:
http://www.beavermotorcoaches.com/ . (And yes, the website lists the Cat engine, but this was probably put together before Cat's announcement of dropping on-road engines.)
