12v bay lights

I have been going through all the lighting for my new to me 98 Beaver Patriot. 3 of the bay lights do not work. All the 12 volt lights are wired through the 12volt master cut off. These 3 lights have 12volt supply to them but it appears the line to ground is the wire which is connected to the master shutoff, and this is where the problem is. I can wire the 3 lights to ground with no problem, but then they will no longer be controlled by the isolation switch and I would have to be careful to remember to turn them off for fear of draining the batteries.
Is there a fuse hidden somewhere, or a terminal block that likely has a wire broken or disconnected? 4 of the other bays have 12 volt lighting which works fine, as does all the interior 12 volt lighting.

Are some of these "3" lights in the wet bay? And FWIW, ground wires are typically white. Really: Are there white wires connecting to your master battery cut-off-switch (in the battery bay)?
