'19 F-150 as Toad behind '05 Monaco Windsor

Getting my '19 F-150 ready for flat towing behind my '05 Monaco Windsor.
Have the Blue Ox baseplate kit installed on the pickup, and now looking at options for towbar, lighting kit, brake buddy, etc.
Looking for recommendations based on owner experiences with their set-ups.
Thinking I'll go with the Blue Ox Avail towbar. What about the lighting kit?
Some have gone with the air-brake hook-up from the coach to the Toad. Is that a complicated setup? Should I go with a brake buddy setup instead?
Any and all recommendations appreciated.
Thanks.

I tow a 2016 f-150 4x4. Have been towing it for 4 years. Installed the Blue Ox baseplate and use an Avail tow bar with the Blue Ox Karguard.

Installed an LSL Toad-Charge and wired the tail/brake lights with diodes.
Also installed the Air Force One brake system. Wasn't too difficult and once done so easy to hookup to the coach.

Just for the record. I have the KarGuard II. The mesh that stretches between the coach and the toad.

I also had an invisiable bra put on the truck, including the headlights and removed the bling mud flap from the rear of the coach.

Several trips from Los Angeles to Michigan and near coast to coast on the Trans Canada Hwy. Multiple trips up and down the west coast and it seems to work well. Not a single ding on the truck.

I use a custom Roadmaster base plate and Roadmaster Sterling tow bar with an RVi3 brake system for my 2017 F150. The base plate and Sterling don't require use of the cross bar so it's an easy connect to the motor home. The RVi3 system is easy to install and use. It takes a minute to put it in the truck and it sets itself up.

Honestly, I have read more problems with blue ox than any other tow bar manufacturer!
I run an old Demco Excalibar 10,500 lb, that was built like a tank, but they no longer build.
If I had to buy another bar/ baseplate, it would go Demco... Roadmaster... Blue OX.

Love my Demco setup. The tow bar is an Aluminator and this is the third toad is has pulled.

I used two different electronic stay in place brakes and would not pack either home again after swearing I would get a "Ready Brake".

Yes there is a small loop of wire out the front bumper but talk about an easy setup and no more worries about locked up brakes in the rain or any other time.

I'm pulling a 2016 F150. The brakes is as smooth as silk and I am stunned at how good it works. There are nice wiring kits available and you tubes for the setup.

Installing the cable through the floor was very easy, getting it through the front bumper was a bit more difficult do to age of me.

The Demco receiver is almost invisible and was so easy to bolt on. Plenty of you tubes for that as well.

I tow my 2500 gmc with a brake kit that goes between the mastercylinder and brake booster (no holes in the firewall!!!!)

Wiring that plugs into the factory plugs at the rear of the pu and run to the front to plug into the mh,

Air brake line from the rear air system.

Any tow bar rated for the weight of your truck.
