Thank you all here is an update
I have spent the last days doing body work and now am ready to paint. It has been raining so I decided to work inside. I have a leak in the bathroom at the sky light and at the living room AC. The roof has a crack that goes from side to side right through the front AC unit. And the roof dips. I will fill the dip with spray insulation and fiberglass the cracks before covering the roop with rubber.
On the Battery issue regarding the two smaller gauge wires.... I have reviewed the schematics that Monaco sent me and they hook up to the chassis battery and go to the Terminal Strip under the dash. I have has them hooked up to the house battery but I really do not think it makes a difference since the house battery switch only controlls the large guage wires.
The 8D battery I bought for the chassie went dead while I was doing the body work... Why... I have had it plugged in to shore power and the manual says the converter charges the "BATTERIES", and seeing as the 93 only came with two I would think it meant both.. Also I had checked both batteries with a volt meter and I swear there was a trickle on both... I do have brain damage from my fall in the service but I don,t see things... after it was dead I checked the cables again and only the house battery had a charge going to it. Today I am going to pull the alt, It was not charging while it was running.
Also on the trans pad.. I made a new cover and hogged a hole in it about 3 inch x 1.25 inches and made a heat sheild on the inside pop rivited in place with a quarter inch clearance. I used an old 1966 toyota marker light housing and hogged out its light recepical to fit a newer ford with a two way light with high and low. On this receprical I also hogged another hold and welded a modified oil pickup tube from a mazda rotary engine. to this I installed a washing machine discharge hose that I have connected a tiny travel hair dryer that has a switch for 220 or 120. It is real quite on 220 and low setting incase I need it for back up. The high side of the light bulb puts out enough heat to light up the trans pad and the low side will keep it warm enough to drive it with out starting to flash and go out. the hair dryer is for quick heat or if a bulb goes out. I trully do not feel the need to send the trans pad in for repair.. I may in the future.. I like to play with things... This trans pad reminds me of my sons XBOX that had cold solder joints and I think it will go for ever if kept warm....
Also my manual says the same about filling the fluid for the jacks.
Next is the information panel above the door. Nothing works.. Any Ideas??? I am always open to suggestion.
Best Regards
Ron & Joanna
