1993 Monaco Signature Tires

I just picked up a new to me coach and it has different size tires on it.

Front 285/75-24.5

Rear 275/80-24.5

Also the tire data info is telling me that it has 295/75 R22.5

They all need to be replaced do to age so I could use some input as this is my first coach.

Thanks
Jon

You have the current rim size as 24.5, it that right??

If the rim size is right you'll have to stick with that size unless you want to buy new rims.

Yup, the first, most critical question.

Said another way a 22.5 tire and a 24.5 tire are NOT in any way interchangeable.

The current rim size is 24.5

I found the data card in the service folder.

I'm have no plan on changing the rims just looking for some input on why two sizes of tires on the coach?

Can you see if there are any clearance issues with the 24.5 size tires?

I would try and stick with the same size front and back. Match the tire to the weights that are listed and possible go with a higher rated tire. If possible get the coach weighed. Wouldn't go with anything less then 16 ply.

I did a quick search, 24.5 aren't as common as 22.5 tires. Couldn't even find a 275/80R24.5 on the site I looked at.

Here's a 285/75R24.5 I found
https://www.bbwheelsonline.com/toyo-...4l-547070-1/##

When you get prices do comparisons with full price out the door.

I just bought a set of Yokohama's 295/80R22.5 for $3600 out the door. I was disappointed that the date code was 2033, ~10 months old but had limited choices.

I'm looking 285/75 R24.5 TOYO M-177 #547170. 16 ply.

No clearance issues that I can see. The rig has been running like this for 10 year with some 40,000 mile by the service records that I have.

This is OEM size on my 95 Signatures Crown Royale. Might be upgrade for 400hp /4060 trans no clearance issues. I can't be sure of Speedo issue ,slight under torque from trans. Go to most any truck tire websights will have spread sheet for circumference, speedo difference. Anything under/over 5% circumference is said to be not good idea.
