Question 1994 Monaco Executive loose steering

Has anyone else experienced loose steering, and if so what is the cure?
Any help would be appreciated as our 94 Monaco is new to us and we are new RVers. Thank you

It is probably worn. Some can be adjusted and some can't. Get it looked at and estimates to repair at a truck shop. Your local school bus barn may the name of a repair shop.

You might check the steering column and any universal joints. They can cause slack in the steering. Other than that, you'll need to have the front wheels off the ground to check for further places of wear that can cause the loose steering behaviors.

There's no easy answer. Your Executive and my Dynasty share the same chassis. Before you spend any money on this, I think you might want to spend the time to read through the following thread:

Do you know what brand of steering box you have.
Follow the link above, at least read the last 10 pages, if you have a Sheppard m100 they are NON adjustable.
If you have a TRW, GREAT you have a good one, adjust and see if there is any more "play" in your coach if so look at your linkage.

Mileage on your coach ?

Stay tuned we are working on a fix and some really good news for you Sheppard owners will be out this week.......I promise.
