1996 Monaco Signature 40' roadmaster chassis

I just purchased a 1996 Monaco Signature 40' with the roadmaster chassis. I am in the stage of looking for every repair, maintenance and parts manuals I can get my hands on. I get my hands dirty. I am having trouble locating these manuals and am looking for some direction. Also, if you have any details or advice on this specific chassis, (what goes wrong, what to watch out for) I'm all ears. New to the rv lifestyle but repaired and operated lots of farm equipment through the years.

You should post on the Monaco forum here on IRV2. For coaches of your vintage, you should join Monacoers which is a Yahoo forum. They have over 5000 Monaco owners there and several with Sigs of your age.

In the forums menu, click on "Owners corner" then you will see the selection for Monaco.

I picked up a 97 Signature last fall and it came with most of the manuals. I don't know how much overlap there is between the years but I'm sure there is some. It takes awhile to go through all the systems and familiarize yourself with them. I'm still going through everything. Is there something specific your looking for? Or just trying to find everything? I don't know of a place where you can find the manuals other than finding someone with a 96 Sig. Ask specific questions and someone should be able to answer it. Congrats and welcome! What condition is it in? Are there any areas that need some work? What options/modifications does it have? Tell us a little bit about it. Post a picture and show it off.

Two quick things to watch for. 1 Make sure you lub. ujoints on drive shaft at least ever 5K miles. 2 Check the SCA level in your cooling system soon to keep your cylinder liners from getting pin holes from not having proper coolant additives.
