1998 Dynasty Kitchen/Living room slide operation

We test drove a nice 1998 Dynasty 40PBS yesterday. The bottom slide out gasket is ripped right above the slide out arm. Easy enough to replace the gasket I'm sure, but the real question is what does the slide out room ride on that would have ripped that gasket? Are there rollers underneath the kitchen cabinet that glide across the tile floor? ALso under the couch that roll on the carpet? Or do the two big slideout hydraulic rams support the weight of that entire slide out room? (SHould I ask this question in the Roadmaster chassis forum?)
Thanks

I own a 2002 Windsor, next step down from the Dynasty. On my living room slide, which has the kitchen cabinets in it, the outer frame of the slide is supported by 2 arms that come out. There are heavy rollers that support these arms and on the end of the arms there are some adjustments for the outer wall to be adjusted up and down. On the inside there are 2 rollers mounted on the bottom slide that roll across the ceramic tile in the kitchen area. Toward the front, right above the front driver side wheel, there is one roller mounted to the floor and the slide rolls across the top of it.

I did have to adjust my back 2 rollers inside the kitchen cabinets.

If the slide is out of adjustment it can be corrected. The question is why it is out of adjustment.

OK thanks Jim. We are still looking at rigs. A Country Coach Allure, this Dynasty and a Newmar Mountainaire. So far they all have good and bad points. But if we get serious on the Dynasty, we'll need to get an answer on that slide and why the gasket is torn.

It may be that previous owners did not understand how to operate the slide. On our 2000 the slide is operated only at ride height. That are the exact directions from Monaco. So:
We park , run out our slide then dump air and level the jacks.
We were told this is because up to a certain year the slide(s) were installed with the rig at ride height.
Our dealer gave us different instruction and it was causing an issue. No more once we followed directions

OK that's interesting. Current owner says that Monaco replaced the tile (at Monaco's expense) and it was thicker than original. They adjusted the slide upwards to accommodate the thicker tile.

How do you operate that HWH hydraulic slide system manually in the event of system (pump, valve, relay) failure? I've researched not found a clear answer. One post referred to spinning the pump motor manually with an electric drill.
