1998 HR Imperial, Charging issues...
Last week I lost my Alt in North Carolina. Luckily I was able to get home using the Jeeps Alt and a jumper cable while in tow. Replaced the Leece Nevil 160amp alt with a new one and now the system is completely not working. Doing some digging the bird system is unhooked and the batteries are hooked in series for the coach house and the engine.
There is three white wires running to the Alt. and a fourth blue one. The blue I think is for the tach and the power from the key is correct. Seems the other two are powerless. when tested.
Anyone have a wiring diagram or knowledge in getting the wiring back up to near factory settings. The previous owner did some terrible things to the wiring systems to save a buck.
