1999 HR Endeavor, Where is that dang dash buzzer?

I have a very annoying false fault dash buzzer that will not quit for my secondary air gauge on my DP.

The gauge was sweeping from Zero to 130 psi triggering the low air red indicator and buzzer on the main panel on the dash.

The buzzer would stop when it swept past 100psi or so and then buzz when sweeping back to zero.

Now, the gauge is most of the time indicating proper psi, yet the buzzer is non stop.

It sounds like it is right under the main dash panel.

Anyone have an idea where it is.

I don't have time to correct the fault, as I am heading to Florida in a week and REALLY do not want to have that buzzer buzzing all the way there and back...

You should be able to take the dash front off, probably held in with numerous screws. Be careful as with age it gets fragile. Take the screws out and tip the dash forward, there should be enough room to get behind it. Turn the key on and you should be able to hear the buzzer and narrow the search.

Not sure how our '97 compares to yours, but I had a buzzer running full time as well. After going through everything, including the dash wiring diagrams, I concluded that the buzzer , which had multiple inputs from several systems, was indeed in error. I pulled the instrument cluster and removed it from the printed circuit board it was mounted on.

Quite a project (hours spent tracing circuits, etc. not to mention time to R&R the panel), but silence IS golden....
