Hello all,
I have a few questions pertaining to my RV:
1. Does anyone know the Paint Code for Corvette White? I have the paint codes
for the other exterior colors for my Ralph Lauren Classic. FYI: If anybody needs touch
up paint Industrial Finishes 800-531-1305 but you need the paint codes?
2. I am cleaning up my grounds, found one near the battery box, one near the
starter, one on the engine block, one in engine compartment driver side rear,
a ground bar attached to the firewall driver side and ground going into fuse
box. Have I missed any?
3. Can anybody tell me who makes the Battery Boost Solenoid (1000 amp) &
Step Switch Continuous Solenoids in the attached picture?
Thanks,
Pat M

The small solenoids are a White-Rodgers - I used an ST-85 from NAPA. there are a couple more just like it in the front run bay - might be a pn on one of them if you want White-Rodgers.
I took the boost solenoid apart and cleaned it, just had dirty contacts. You might do a search - there are a number of older threads on these subjects.

Before spending too much on a boost solenoid. Look into Bluesea ML-ACR threads.Last time I checked it was $155 on Amazon. It would replace boost solenoid, diode isolator and Lambert charger that only charges at 15amps max.
Many of us have done the upgrade.I think you can get/find a pic of you exact layout redone with ML-ACR.

I think I have the paint code for the Corvette White if it’s the same as our 97 which I think it should be.
I’ll get it out of the coach tomorrow and post it here.

The original battery boost solenoid on most of Monaco diesel coaches is an Itellitec "Big Boy". But yours has the large terminals on the side and ours are on the bottom. Yours may be a different version of an Itellitec solenoid.
153stars is right about replacing it with a Blue Sea ML-ACR. It requires running a new wire from front to back and some copper bending, but is a good permanent fix.

Another replacement for the isolator, big boy and lambert is the BIM225.
It's what being installed in new DP RVs.

Update, the Blue Sea ARC just connects both battery banks together.
The BIM225 has a logic controller that only tops off your chassis battery if needed. It doesn't keep charging the chassis battery while on shore power for long times.

Good morning all,
Thanks to all who responded.
Kurt, yes there are 2 small solenoids in the front bay with W/R printed on them.
95monaco, that would help immensely.
153stars, Vito.a & twinboat, I will investigate the Bluesea ML-ACR and BIM225 threads on IRV2 forums.
Thanks again and as always safe travels,

I’m sorry but I guess I don’t have the Corvette white code after all.
I just went over all of my Dads records for the 97 which he picked up brand new from Coberg
I have some Codes showing IFD numbers for the trim but not the base white.
9710
9711 or 9751
9712
Are the codes you have similar to this format.
Sorry not exactly what I thought I had in his records
I’ll check records from the 95 when I can as I’m sure they used the same “corvette white” as their base white.
Now I’m on a mission as well as I need some of the trim colors myself.
Cheers

Before I installed Bluesea ML-ACR I was lucky enough to find a bundle of 12 spare wires to operate switch from dash. One end was dead end run of plastic corrugated black auto wire armor on top of drivers engine frame rail. The other looped under center of dash.

Good morning all,
95monaco, my RV exterior color is RL2C99 Ralph Lauren Classic it only has 3 colors with no pinstripe.
1. Corvette White
2. #1808 LT Patina/taupe
3. #1809 Dk Patina/taupe
Industrial Finishes is in the process of making me 2-2oz bottles of #1808 & #1809 with the formula they have on file. I though the RL2C99 would encompass all colors but no.
153stars, have not attempted looking for spare wire runs (front to back), I have other issues but found numerous cut wires when investigating grounds locations. I am the 3rd owner. Guess, I have to purchase a wire tracer.
Thanks for your time and help.
Thanks again and as always safe travels,
Pat M

Pat thanks for giving those codes I was curious to see if the formatt was even close and clearly not other than all numbers.
I’m a bit surprised that there isn’t an easy way to get the info even though these are older paint codes.
I’m going to start a new thread asking about codes and see what shows up.
I searched here and little came up so thought a new thread and as well posted on Monacoers might bring results.
Cheers.
