2000 Dynasty 12 Volt Air Level Compressor

My 12 Volt leveling compressor runs but needs the seals replaced. HWH Pete said it shouldn't be too bad of a job. My question is can I remove the 12 volt compressor and still drive the coach? The 12 volt compressor doesn't work now but I just want to make sure the bags will work as normal driving and no brake problems.

There needs to be a check valve for the line from the air compressor to the rest of the HWH pneumatic system. The 12 V compressor on our '06 Dynasty has that check valve on the compressor assembly. If I chose to try to air up the suspension on our coach, I would need to plug the unconnected line to keep contamination out and the air pressure in, and I suspect your coach would be similar.

The coach air supply with the engine running will supply all the needs of the suspension and braking systems, so not having the compressor in place would not affect those functions. If you can find a cap with the proper threads, you should be able to seal that line and drive your coach until you can get it repaired and re-installed. The only thing you would lose would be the ability for the coach to auto re-level once the reservoir air supply has been depleted.

Thank You, I was hoping that was the case.
