2000 Dynasty 40 Unladen weight? 350 h.p. MPG?

I have searched the net and this forum, but I can only find limiting weights for the rig in question. If anybody has even a ballpark number, I'd appreciate it.

2000 Monaco Dynasty Regent 40' w/ 2 slides, 350 h.p. ISC

Also, I'd like to hear any fuel consumption numbers you might have, with a toad or not.

Thanks!

My signature shows what I have below. Empty is about 32,000 lbs. I full time so it weighs a little over 34,000 with a listed gross of 36,000. (I don't have hydraulic jacks, air level only) I have a Banks kit and a 5" diameter exhaust with a straight through muffler so my mileage is most likely the best you will see including towing a 4,500 lb Pilot. I don't drive above 65 mph so that helps also. I think the average for most is around 8-9 mpg.

Thanks Tim - perfect! That's what I needed. If I go down this path, would it be okay to PM you for info on your mods? I'm guessing that Banks kit is no longer available, but I'd be interested in attempting to mod in a similar fashion. My only diesel experience is with Navistar/Ford Powerstroke 7.3L and Cummins 5.9L in pick-up trucks, so I understand some of the principles that might apply to optimizing an ISC. Is the 5" straight through muffler loud inside or out? My stock 4" muffler and cat on the 2004 ISB is quiet and I'm told it's difficult to get much better flow, although I think a Donaldson 5" does the trick quietly. Too many folks with popular aftermarket exhaust mods end up with an annoying "drone" inside and making anti-social noises out the back end. Don't want to be that guy! But anything that attains safe extra torque and mpg increases, possibly on the order of 20% or better, could be money well-spent. Thank you.

Sure you can PM me with questions. I don't hear the exhaust except going under bridge and you have to listen for it then. What state to you live it?

Nevada; no diesel emissions check over 14,000 lbs.

Are your sig hp/tq numbers from a dyno or estimated based on assumed mod results?

There's a placard in one of the kitchen cabinets that says my 40' 2000 Dynasty weights 29,000 and change empty. I can chek tomorrow for the exact number. I have one large LR slide. I also have the 350 hp ISC and would love to get 8-9 mpg. I get about 7.5 on a good day and have gotten much less in the mountains. We always tow a F-150 that weighs just over 5000 lbs, sometimes it has a motorcycle in the back and that adds about 500 lbs.

It's from a low end of estimated based on assumed mod results? The Banks kit is dyno numbers at 431 hp, 1296 T. Opening up the exhaust to 5" Diameter all the way out is good for 10-15% depending on how restrictive the stock exhaust was. Mine was pretty bad. The results show with the mileage I get. I have 32-35 psi of boost pulling a grade with exhaust temp of not more then 1250. Stock the engine makes 24-26 boost. If I kept my foot in it I know it would drink the fuel. I just run 65mph. My mileage comes from my ScangageD. On the weight, I have two slides.

Tim

I do have to put my coach through Deezel emissions testing everywhere here in Mesa Arizona. And it passes with no problems.
