2000 Dynasty Solar Controller

Will a 2000 Dynasty Solar Controller handle a total of 425 watts?
I have the stock 90 watt panel and I have two 100 watt panels hooked into the stock controller at the fridge vent. Will it handle another 135 watt panel?

Can you look up the specs on the current controller? But even if it could handle more watts/amps, I think you want all the panels to be the same size and specs (matched).

If you add one in parallel, the old/new panel voltages may not match. If you put them in serial, I think the smallest panel would limit all panels to it's amp output. And you have to be sure your open circuit voltage of the panels in series does not exceed the controller rating.

I would recommend a new standalone controller for the new panel.

Thank You, I will try to find the specs. The connection bus-bar on the roof (under the fridge cover) has a place for one more panel cna the controller has one more dip switch position for the four panel. That's why I was asking.

Thumbs up

It sounds like your controller may be setup for multiple panels of different sizes

Your 2000 Dynasty should have an RV-30 Pulse Width Modulation solar charge controller and a 90W Solec panel. It was a very good controller in its day. The Monaco manual says it is rated for up to four 90W panels.
I would add the 4th panel you have and monitor it. If you are unhappy with the performance, then replace the controller with a newer MPPT.
