2000 Dynasty window gasket

Hello Iím in search for the stationary side window gasket that goes in the frame and around the glass. The old one was one continuous piece that went around the thermo pane and slid into the aluminum window frame. Iíve looked and have not found it anywhere. Itís on a 2000 dynasty the window above the couch

Hi CDR151; I have read here in this forum by a few owners who have done their own side windows. If my memory serves me correct, maybe yes, maybe no, Dennis who is in Texas and has a 2000 Dynasty replaced his fogged side drivers glass along with all new seals and stripping in the frame. Until he reads this and responds, you might want to put a search in the box at the top right of this page with the info I provided and see if his posts show up in this forum. As I recall he posted pictures and sources for his side window job. This is horrible, I read his posts all the time and I can't get the spelling right for his IVR2 name. I think it is Barcmd. Something close to that. He sure had a great write up on the window repair. Hope this info helps! Looked it up, Barmcd. By using his IVR2 name in the search, you should be able to find the post on the replacement and sources for what you are describing. Good luck!

Hi again Cdr151; Did a little digging while here on the desktop. Try going to Parkin-acc.com. They are a supplier of window parts and are in Elkhart,In. Your window should be made by Atwood as are mine in my 01 Windsor. They have a parts section for Atwood windows. Hope this info helps.

Hi 8.3 I have read Dennis’s write up on the window rebuild it’s great only thing is he didn’t reply the glazing gasket from what I have read. I did get all of the materials he used from the vendor he recommended. The gasket the call wrap around glazing gasket I’m going to try the vendors mentioned in this thread tomorrow.

What is wrong with the gasket that is/was in the window.

I redid my drivers side window and did not have to replace any of the gaskets.

I didn't have to replace any of the window gaskets when I repaired my fogged windows.

Something like this might work. They have different sizes.

Dennis that is what I ordered yesterday. The gasket was torn when I separated the metal frame. At some point the window must have been apart and they used some sealer holding it in place. The other two windows I redid came apart fine.
