2000 Monaco Diplomat no power to LP gas electric solenoid

Does anyone know where the fuse is for the lp gas solenoid? I've looked in all the fuse boxes and can't find it. If I can't find it I might have to delete it to get my lp system working.

I seem to remember that some LPG leakage detectors have a circuit that shuts off that valve when gas is detected???

LP Detector sends 12VDC to the LP Solenoid to hold it open.
If Detector alarms or fails the DC is dropped and the LP Solenoid closes

LP Detectors are typically wired Direct from batteries (possibly house & chassis)

LP Shutoff solenoids are NOT installed any more and are NOT required
Can be removed and hard piped

LP Detectors with replacement solenoids are available but pricy

Non-solenoid operated LP Detectors are less expensive

Looking through the wiring diagrams for the 2000 Diplomat I cannot see any mention of the wires to the LP solenoid.

As the previous poster indicated it may be powered by the LP gas detector which is located almost directly above the LP tank.

When the solenoid on my 1999 Diplomat stopped working, I traced the problem to the LP shutoff switch above the tank . Being in an open compartment, it is subject to lots of corrosion. I replaced the wiring connectors and sprayed the switch with electronic cleaner to remedy the problem.

Good luck.

I will try to locate the wiring you refer to.
