I just sent it again. Maybe I erred the first time.

I'll just post it here. I think everyone in the world has it already anyway.

In any case what i have found with your help is it appears the brown wire in the front run pannel is dead. It appears it goes to the light switch and is dead coming out of the switch as well. What I am working on now is where does the power come from. I believe the power comes frmo the light switch and goes down to the run pannel oustside but I'm not sure which wire coming into the switch should be powered up to supply power through the switch and to the brown wire going outside.

The source of power to the light switch appears to be a #12 AWG orange wire coming from the "running lights" fuse.

The fuse is located on the chassis, which would be near the engine.

Fixed.
With your help I was ble to find the circuit that powered all this. The plug M! is the wiring harness connector that plugs in the whole light switch business to the rig. Pin 4 on that plug was comprimised and had to be fixed. That plug was found inside the dash.
