2000 Monaco Monarch (New Owner)

Well I have made the plung! 5th wheeler to motor home.
It’s my first and hopefully I have made a good purchase! Still nervous about the unknowns of a used MH.
Any help in what I should do first would be appreciated! I’m as green as they come.
This seems to be a great forum as I have prowled around on it.

Welcome to the family. We share a lot of good information. I found myself in your shoes this time last year. I sold a nice 5th Wheel and purchased a 2001 Monaco Dynasty 36FD. The first thing I’d do is to join the Monaco Owners Forum. And then add your coach/tow information as a footer. That way when you ask questions people will see what you have and the answers come more quickly.

The owners banner is located at top within the IRV2.com section. Just select Monaco.

The footer can be found on the left side of your user information. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. I’m not the most tech savvy around.

One thing I can guarantee is that you will find great answers with very specific information on this forum. I’ve been helped so many times making repairs that have saved me money.

The only dumb question is the one that isn’t asked.

Happy travels,

Go to your user control panel (usercp) and edit your signature

Took me several times to get it correct

Well done, and I think you have joined the Monaco Owners forum. This will allow for more specific answers to questions as others can show us the way to fix this and do that. I had a cruise control issue (I’m a cc slave) and a fellow Monaco owner not only told me what to do but showed me pics of where it was and what to look for. He was dead on, saved me several hundred $ and made me a happy traveler again.

Don’t be shy to ask any and all questions here or on the general forum because I believe some of these folks could build their own coach!

I’m an positive I will be asking questions at some point. Seems like such a friendly forum. Most forums are full of know it alls that don’t know even half of it!! This one seems to be a great resource of knowledgeable people.
Thanks again!

Took me a couple times. Remember to do the “ save” step. That’s what was tripping me up
