2000 Monaco question
First post.. just got my MH (2000 Monaco Diplomat 38' one slide) (big jump from my bumper hitch hybrid..LOL) yesterday.. long story short I dont have a owners manual and was wondering if the thermostat in the living area controls both front and back air conditioners? My front one works but the back one does not.. it has a duo therm digital thermostat. I WILL be having more questions.. thanks!!!

I have a 2000 La Palma and each Thermostat works independently. I believe you should be able to download a copy of the Owners Manual from the Monoco Web Site.
Welcome to IRV2, you will find it a very useful site with lots of knowledgeable people to help with question.

Well I just replaced both and both A/C's in my MH, but they had always worked independent.
As for the Manual, do a Google search for both the manual and for RV Junk Yards that may have a manual you could purchase.

Mines a 99. The two ac operate from the digital. If a four button, push and hold the top two buttons together. It should switch to zone 2. The bedroom unit is zone 2. The manual therostat above it is for the fantastic fan in the kitchen. Hope this helps.

Are you sure you are not looking T the manual thermostatic control for the roof fan. You should have two digital thermostats. You can't change them from digital to manual unless you change the whole AC unit to a different one because there is a circuit board in the AC unit that works with the digital thermostat

2000 Monaco question
Yes there are two thermostats, one for the fan, and a dual Duo Therm for the two zone AC (front zone1, rear zone 2), push the top two buttons together to change zones. Then operate the AC, heat strip, or furnace.

The only thing I can think could be a problem , there is a temperature sensor I the bedroom that controls that AC. If it is covered up with something it will not tell the unit to operate. Mine is on the wall of the closet on the below the light. Check your circuit breakers in the bedroom. Best of luck.
