2001 Dynasty electrical issues

I have a 2001 Dynasty. When I turn on the ignition, I here the low beeeeeeep, but nothing works. Guages don't work, neither does the anything in the dash, including AC/Heater and auto-leveling system. I've checked all fuses. I was told there was an ECM in the steering column and one behind the guages. Anyone know how to check these? I understand there is a long history with ground issues on the Frieghtliner chassis. Batteries are fully charged as I keep at trickle charger on them.

Thanks for your help.

You have a Roadmaster S Series chassis not a Freightliner. It’s one of the strongest chassis a motorhome was ever built on. The symptoms you describe are classic “low chassis battery” symptoms. Do you have a charger on both your house and chassis battery banks? If just on your house batteries, it’s possible that the battery combiner solenoid isn’t working.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I agree with Steve. It sounds like a low chassis battery to me. Try using the boost switch that connects the house battery to the chassis battery and see what happens. Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Another possibility are the two solenoids in the front run box. At least on the 2000 Dynasty there are two that are energized when the ignition switch is turned on, they can be temperamental. Rapping the body of the solenoid when the key is in the on position with the end of a screw driver can sometime make them work again prior to being replaced.
