2001 Dynasty - Replacing Queen Bed?

Just was thinking -----

We just took delivery of a Tempur-Pedic queen bed --- Rhapsody.

Measuring the new bed I found 60 inches wide by 80 inches long.

Measuring one in Dynasty I found 59 inches wide by 80 inches long.

Hmmmmmm

Has anyone replaced their OEM bed with one of these Tempur-Pedis beds???

Since we have our home for sale - should it sell the new bed is just libel to find itself in the Dynasty. Love it!!!!!

God Bless

Bill

Bill, we just did the same thing in our 01 Diplomat. My coach has a bed slide out so getting the mattress in was no problem. Yes it is a tad bit longer but no problem at all. Best part is it sleeps sooooo goooodddd.

The only real difference I was able to find, in mattresses, is that the one in the motorhome has bottom of the bed "rounded" at each corner. For some reason the Mfg seemed to think that this was a good thing.

I do not see where that is any savings at all because the result is actually nothing ---- possibly an inch or two at the far back side near the closet.

The bed width is an inch or so wider than the one in the motorhome - and that simply makes it slightly harder to make up but it is still doable.

So ---- one way or another I think the switch will be made at some point in the future.

God Bless

Bill the only difference we notice other than the way it sleeps, is that the overall height of the bed is taller. Don't find that to be a problem.

I don't think an increase in bed height would be much of an issue. While I don't know how thick ours is, it is slightly less than the one we had on our bed before this one went in (in stick house).

We purchased the Rhapsody model and love it so far.

God Bless
