2001 Endeavor Fuel Cap

I managed to lose my fuel filler cap. I've searched in vain for a part number. Might anyone have the answer, or a good direction to search. Thank you.

Assuming yours is like my 2000, you've got caps on either side. It's a standard automotive filler cap - take the other side to any auto parts store and should have one in stock for around $10-15.

My fuel (diesel) caps are threaded and non-vented - not like an automotive 1/4 turn fuel cap.

Mine is like this (search on Amazon) - Gates 31803 Heavy-Duty Saddle Tank Fuel Cap

When left my cap at the pump. I just as you mentioned for my DP endevor. The guy at advance auto parts went through the caps and found a match. Been using the cap for years.

Is your filler neck externally threaded with a brass cap?

The Gates mentioned earlier is probably equivalent and should work just as well, but this Velvac is exactly like my original cap.

No, mine is (was) a plastic internal thread. Looks much like a gas cap.
