2001 General
Finally got down to Atlanta to pick it up, now I'm back home in Wyoming. Couldn't wait to get my hands on and start updating starting out with porcelain tile that was in the floor and was damaged so with the seven free tile I had in there I replaced. Wondering what's next and electronica nightmare to upgrade all my TVs and stereos hope the king dome still works. The TVs have no HDMI connections that's how old they are. Will try and keep you up posted and try and figure out how to post a picture in here

Woohoo! Another 2001 Sig owner!
Congrats, it's a beaut!! How did it perform on the drive home? Any pictures of the inside?
We are currently working on upgrades to our 2001 Signature this summer. Just finished upgrading the TVs, might be some helpful information. Check out the thread below. Do you have the heated floor option? Something maybe to check, before ripping out any tile. Usually the controller is mounted in the bathroom.

Congratulations on your new motorhome! You bought a great coach.
You've come to the right place. Most of us have already tackled swapping out the old TV's and updating many of the systems.
Let us know what you need help with?

Yes Josh would be very interested to find out what you discovered the multi disc CDplayer works and that's all. I do have tile heat in bathroom and it did work when I first inspected and I did find wires in kitchen also was careful not to damage any wires BUT the felt paper that cover them did not get replaced. Put some rubber dip material on wires with paint brush.

Here is the link where we have documented the TV upgrade and some other projects we are working on: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/upg...re-485002.html
Living in Canada, the heated floors have been awesome for this Spring weather. If you were able to replace the tiles while not damaging the heat elements, I would be certainly interested to learn how. We like our tile floor, but have 1 or 2 spider cracks that we would maybe consider replacing just those tiles if we could find a match (and preserve the heated floors).
We have all the original documentation including manuals, wiring diagrams and so on. If you have specific questions or need something, just let me know, we will do our best to help.

Do you have the Plasma TV that lifts up from the desk cabinet? Neat option, one of the few I wished maybe we had. Would have made our TV upgrade even easier. Should be able to swap for a new LED TV (maybe even one slightly bigger as the bezels are smaller these days).
We had our Aqua-hot serviced in October. The previous owner hadn't used it in years, and it turned out to have a bad control board. The RV dealer where we took it for service had a control board in stock even, to repair it. We will start doing the annual service ourselves going forward, not too difficult.
It might be "obsolete" in that Aqua-hot doesn't build that specific model number (many new models over the last 19 years), but it can certainly still be serviced and I think parts found.
