2002 And Early Monaco's Entry Door Seals

Has anyone purchased new door seals for their MH's(2001, 2002 in particular). Would like to know if anyone has Seal No.'s etc. There appears to be 4 Seals in and around the Door. Two of them may be the same type Seals. The exterior one around the perimeter and the middle flap type Seal, may be the same type. My 2002 has two hinges on the Door.

door seals

I have done some searching for seals for my 2000 Dynasty entry door and even though there is some good info on the web sites, I struggle to find what looks like a match. I have managed to track down and repair my wind noises with some other than stock weather strip bulb seals.

Steele Rubber is a good start for RV seals and weather strips.

You might look for a ser # tag on your entry door. Some were built in the Monaco plants and some where sourced out. At least that is what I have read. My Entry door appears to be built by Monaco.

I bought mine from the REV group in late 2017. You might give them a call.

Hey Tim,

Wow I did not think Rev would have a clue or care about a 2000.
Does your door have a Monaco tag and Ser#?

The few times I tried to get info on parts from REV Group were not very successful. I got better info...and had them order the parts from REV. by using Alliance down in Idlewood, FL. However, now that Lazydays has it I may be back to square 1. Thanks for your help. I had forgotten about the Parts folks at Lazydays. Maybe some of the same folks are still there.

I got two of them from REV group. I posted them here a couple of months ago. Do a search of this forum for door weatherstrip.

Dennis,
Thanks for the link on the T seal. I cant seem to find that small flat ribbed one anywhere. Could you help with that more? I have looked for some time and found similar but always much to thick.

Follow the link to REV parts and enter the part number 10103059 in the search box.

such a great resource

I just ordered these from REV thanks to this information. This site is such a great resource for the DYI RVer.

Just a fyi...the flat ribbed is out of stock/back order for a couple weeks.

Another issue I am having is both of my roof a/c units started leaking on a trip recently. The roads were very rough while traveling and I suppose the roof seals were shook loose since both started leaking during a rain storm, and at 2 A.M. of all things. In any event, has anyone had any experience with replacing the roof seals around the a/c unit. I installed an a/c unit on a previous MH, but looking at the leak from inside the MH it looked as if the water was coming in around the metal plate on the bottom of the a/c unit and the MH roof top. By the way, I tried to tighten the hold-down bolts, and it did slow the water down, but I couldn't get it to stop. So, since it's and 02', I suppose it's time to replace the seals. Any suggestions?? Should I try Parts at REV with the MH Model and Serial No.??
