2002 Monaco Executive ign slide safety switch

I understand there may be an easy way to override the ignition slide safety switch, I would like to be able to extend and retract all three slides without shutting off motor, if there is a simple way to do this I would appreciate any help on how it can be done.
Thanks

On our coach the slide/ignition interlock relay is in the rear run box. IIRC the the hot leads are jumpered, removing the relay and its interlock function from of the circuit. My slides now work regardless of the ignition state.

Cheers,

Bobcovey can you get a picture of the relay? Did you just remove the jumper or the relay.

Thanks for your help

My relay was in the front cargo bay under the driver, I also unplugged the relay for the tv so it wouldn"t shut off if I turned on the ignition switch. Tv was #27 and slideout was #28. They were under in large cover with many fuses. Both were small black box with rating of 7.5 amps.

After looking over wiring diagrams it looks like the yellow wire on slide relays may be the ignition lockout, will check it out and let you know.

Dave,

We are getting ready to travel today so not pictures, sorry. Page 9.344 of our manual has a diagram of the Low Current electrrical box in the engine bay. The slide relay is the second one from the right. Without looking at it and the schematic, I can't recall what was done.

Cheers,

Found the slide wire to disable ignition switch lockout for my year of coach, at rear of coach, left side of engine compartment in black box with 4 bolts, remove cover and there is a row of relays across top of box, relay on right labeled "Disable Slide", remove yellow wire and your done. Hope this helps.
