2002 Monaco Windsor
I am a new owner and new to the coach. I have a 2002 Monaco Windsor, recently have plugged the coach into electric access at a public storage facility for the winter. The coach was charging and all indications that the outlet was doing its job. I stopped over a couple weeks later in a very cold few days, there seams to be power from the extension cord, but no indication that the power is being accepted into the coach. My question would be if its plugged in
is there anything on this coach that would not permit the acceptance of the power? The monitor in the back cabinet that shows the amp coming into the coach is not lit up, it was a couple weeks ago.. I tested the outlet and the power is working, but it seams like its not being accepted into the coach. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.. sorry for being so vague, again, I am new to this.. thank you....

Are you plugged into a 20, 30 of 50 amp plugin?
Do you know if you have a Surge Protection, if it is sensing bad power it will not let it pass.
First I'd check the female portion of the cord and make sure there is not a problem there.
If you have power then I would check the transfer switch. I own a 2002 Windsor also, my transfer switch is located in the small bay and can be accessed via the slideing plexiglass doors. It is in the compartment where the transfer switch, water heater, water pump is located.
My transfer switch is a Lyght LPT50BRD but if you rig was manufactured prior to Sept of 2001 it could have the Iota ITS-50R. The Iota transfer switch is known to failure (sometimes causing fires).
Answer these questions and the IRV2 can help you out.

Ray, sometimes if power is even momentarily off it will cause the load controller to need resetting. Unplug the cord and leave it out for several minutes. Plug it back in and wait at least two minutes for the Magnum controller to reset. It should light up and show the charging rate now.

Check to see if your inverter is turned on.
Should be in the same cabinet as the tank sensors.
Turn inverter on and then check your back panel.

Regarding jacwjames post, I just read this on another forum. It was posted by an RV service tech with over 20 years experience.
"The recall issue on Iota's was NOT the design or fault of the Iota Transfer box. It was the fault of the various OEM's that used them. The problem was inadequate securing of the 120 supply and exit Romex wiring. So, they issued a blanket recall to replace them. ALL you have to do if you have an Iota is verify and secure the 120 supply and exit wires. Once you do that, you are OK."

Hello Ray999; The new owner of our previously owned 2000 Windsor had the same problem you are describing. The coach was in a storage facility. It was just plugged into a 20 amp circuit. When the coach was first plugged in, no problem. The front panel did show that the batteries were being charged thru the inverter. They came back a couple of days later and no power in the coach. The new owners called me to come take a look to see if I could figure out what was wrong. Sure enough, no power in the coach and the front panel was dark showing no 120 or any inverter battery charging. Checked power from the 20 amp source. We had power. Went back to the 120 breaker panels above the bed. Checked them, but none seemed to be tripped. Before I could do anything my wife said, why don't you reset all the breakers. I don't know how she knew, BINGO, we had power in the coach. Front panel now showing 120 power and inverter charging batteries. Not sure if a breaker, the one for the inverter, was partly tripped. It's worth a try. Please let us know your final fix. Good luck.

On other forums I've seen pictures posted of the burn units caused by hot contacts.
Maybe someone else will chime in on this.
