2003 Dynasty Totaled; Replaced by 2006 Dynasty
So we were headed south from Lyndeborough, NH on Veterans day 2019 and got about 2 miles down the 2 lane road when it happened. A Ford Expedition driver nodded off and veered into our lane. She hit the front left corner of the motorhome, slid down the side, then hit my wife on the front left quarter in the 2010 Mini Cooper S, who was following about 200 feet back. All 3 vehicles were totalled. Fortunately no one was seriously injured. Unfortunately, the Ford driver had an expired licence, registration, and insurance. Good news, we had uninsured motorist coverage.
In January after the insurance stuff was settled we set off to the south to search out a replacement coach, having found a replacement 2011 Mini Cooper S. We eventually found a 2006 Monaco Dynasty Platinum IV in a garage near Del Rio TX. So now we're in Kerrville TX for a bit till the Coronavirus thing settles down a bit.

Glad you are okay. A 2006 Dynasty is a great year. You get the newer Magnum inverter, the Intellitec wiring system, more ceiling height, and it still has the HWH leveling system.

Thanks! The Magnum is a step down; I had converted the old coach to a new SOTA Xantrex 3000 sine wave that is superior to the First edition Magnum. I’m not sure if there’s a software/hardware upgrade for it. The intellitec is good, although the older coach had the large 140 page wiring diagrams with it when I bought it used. Ceiling height is not too noticeable for us since we’re short (5-8 & 5-4). HWH as well as Jacks option. Compared to the old coach, he kitchen is dinky and the cupboards are fewer, smaller. Drop down tv is nice, more difficult to whack yer head on it! And no DEF!

That is the model year I'm hoping to acquire as well... maybe a 2007 if it does not have the soot cooker on it.
