I is most likely the resistor under ihe dash in the cold air return on the curb side or in the generator bay on the curb side, it's what the four wires plug into on the heater unit on. Take it off an go to Napa to match up a auto type replacement.

Possible part numbers,
NAPA, BR 309
Motorcraft, D8BH-19A706AB

Thermal Fuse?

Look where Mike referenced and take the resistor pack out. You'll likely find that the thermal fuse is open. You can buy the fuses at Radio Shack for around $2.00. They are crimped into place because soldering can cause them to fail due to the heat involved. But if you're careful and clamp something on to the leads (heat sink) before soldering it will not hurt the fuse. I've done it on two different units.

The direct replacement is rated at 262 degrees F, Radio Shack part number: 270-1322. Apparently these things commonly fail so it seemed that maybe they were spec'd on the low side. Given that I elected to purchase the 288 F flavor (270-1320) which is about a 10% bump in temperature threshold.

If the above does not work then the part number for the whole resistor pack is D8BH-19A706-AB. That's a Motorcraft number as Mike said. If NAPA cannot get it for you then check with East Texas Auto Air at 903-753-0089

Also, I have the 2003 Windsor/Imperial wiring diagrams in PDF that I can e-mail to you if you send me a private message with your e-mail address.

FWIW
