2003 Inverter/Residential Fridge Question

We have to take our 03 Lapalma on a 1 1/2 hour one way drive to have it inspected and title transferred. Considering we have a gen issue (another post) will the inverter handle the residential fridge for 4 ours until we return and plug into shore power?

do you have 4 house batteries ? If so, 4 hours is no problem. The refer will stay cold by itself for quite a while as long as the inside temp is reasonable.

Does your alternator charge your house batteries?

IF (may be a big IF) everything is working as designed/built, no problem.

The alternator will charge both battery banks.

The charged house battery bank will power the inverter to keep the refrigerator running.

But, unless it is really hot out, 3-4 hours should be fine with refrigerator off if you don't open the doors.

If time, freeze a couple of plastic bottles and place in the refrigerator.

We have 2 house batteries, and they are fully charged. Will take 2 large froxen blue ice pods and put them in the fridge. Thank you

Managed to get the gen fixed yesterday so it became a non-issue.
