2003 Monaco Dynasty front TV
Any way to bypass the front TV turning off when the engine is started? I have no temptation to watch TV, but the kids are going nuts without TV!!

The TV is plugged into an outlet that has an interlock if the ignition is on. If you unplug the 12 volt input it should work. It is located behind the TV.

I simply plugged the TV into another outlet... The 115v outlet in the other cabinet does not turn off with the ignition.

It is generally fused, find the fuse in one of your 12v fuse panels and pull it.

Yes a different outlet or disable the relay which is probably part of the outlet. I ran all my front cabinet electronics off a large power strip surge protector to an outlet that is powered by the inverter

The TV is on a circuit with several other items so just pulling the fuse will also kill the other accessories.
On my coach I simply found the connection in the front run panel and physically disconnected the wire. I then labeled it and secured it so when I go to sell the coach I can reconnect it.
Funny thing is, after going through the schematics and locating the wire, I don't think we have ran the television once while running down the road since.

There are 2 fuses I removed in the front drivers side fuse/power panel under the driver. One was for the tv called the "TV ING RELAY" The other was for the slide out, called "Slide-out ING RELAY" I removed them so I could run the coach and operate the slide and the tv too,,, really did it because twice I turned on the ignition switch to check mileage while the wife was watching TV thought I better fix that!
They are numbered 27 and 28 on my 2003 HR Scepter.
Good luck

Did you notice ANY unwanted side effects afterwards? Also, do the labels use ING or IGN for the abbreviation of ”Ignition”? Thank you, in advance.

I didn't notice any thing else the fuses effected, but my fat fingers,,or brain put in "ing" should be "ign" as fuse panel layout in the owners manual was labeled! TV IGN RELAY and Slide-out IGN RELAY

Still no solution. I can find any fuse or relay labeled "TV IGN RELAY"
