2003 Monaco SE Windsheild Wiper issues.

I purchased the RV new with 3200 miles. The first time I turned wipers on I could not believe how little of that large window was not touched. I have asked this before, but I hAVEN,T RECEIVED ANY Real fixes. Is there anyone out there that has a fix? Thanks Jim Senn Athol Idaho

Slightly confused by the statement "how little of that large window was not touched"

Are you saying the wipers cover too much windshield? Or did you mean not enough?

If not enough, I would wonder if you have the proper length blades?

I went with a shorter blade that seemed to have helped. I've had to replace the wiper blade assembly several times & used different brands some working better then other. You might try another brand.

Also, I have HD springs on the wiper that are suppose to force the wiper toward the windshield, I took them off and bent a portion to increase the force.

That being said, windshields are not perfect. My drivers side has a slight depression in it and no matter what I've done I still can't get it to clean this part. I've learned to live with it, we seldom drive in the rain so not a big deal.

Call AM Equipment in Oregon. They are very helpful! They have everything for your wiper system including the correct size blades. Here is their phone # and web site. www.amequipment.com Phone: 541-327-1546

I,m referring to the area that the wipers actually wipe. Ive tried longer blades but not much help. I actually think the wiper arms are the wrong type. I wonder if they could be changed out with the 2 arm assemblies?

I have found that the wipers in my coach are marginal at best. Before I leave on a trip, I clean the windshield and apply a coat of RainX. That stuff really works, and last fall when my wiper module went south, the RainX kept me on the road during a rain storm.
