Hi Folks , any body out there having any problems with their entry door hard to open ? Ive had this problem for about a year and cant quite figure out what the issue might be. The Coach is quite level on a cement pad so i dont think levelling is the issue. In order to open the door , it requires a strong push - inward before the latch will release and open . Any thoughts/ suggestions would be appreciated . Thanks

Sorry for the late response, It seems like you have allot pressure on the latch. This could be caused by the door gasket or the latch itself needs to be adjusted buy a couple of screws on either on the door or the body.

You should be able to adjust the door striker.

I had the same problem, close the door to hard and you could not open it.

Recently did the same thing. Door would only unlatch from outside if you give it just the right push with your knee while pulling the handle - no problem from inside. After I fixed it, I almost ripped the door off the hinges it came open so easy.

This might help get you started til Drifter chimes in. There are several threads on 'How-To-Do-It' too. In my case, it was predominantly the linkage adjustment rods that needed to be re-aligned.
