2004 Monaco Dynasty Door Gas Strut addendum

As a few of us have swapped out the scissors door holder to the gas strut I did mine this weekend but when a bit beyond.

Once it was done I noticed that the door trim where it was attached to the coach flexed allot, this can't be a good thing I thought to my self..

When I did mine the trim was aluminium and only about a 1/4 thick
I hopped that I would hit the steal framing behind the trim but I did not.

I removed the inside door trim and added a backer.. This was old saw stiffener I had laying around ad it was late so...

Then used 1/4 X 3" SS cap screws and threaded the holes, then reattached the bracket.

No movement now.
