I stream Amazon music to it from my laptop, which gives me access to hundreds of songs.

Gramps, where is that link? I can't find it. Was it in another thread?

Gramps, I went all the way back and found your link but the adaptor kit you mentioned, there was no link for it. Can you supply it too? Thanks.

Defective RV radio replacement...
We recently purchased a 2004 R-Vision with a defective radio. After all reset procedures failed, we searched for an affordable higher end replacement. Following some frustrating research we settled on a Sony purchased on Amazon. Wanting to keep the original mount surface I had to modify and preserve the old radio face plate, a daunting task.
I had to "gut" the original radio and modify the existing faceplate, trimming parts inside to fit the new Sony unit. I also added a support bracket behind for support and protection from road vibration. After a few fabrication challenges, we now have a great sounding radio with all the bells and whistles, and a cool nightlight. For anyone considering this challenge, let me know and I will share the scary details... happy musical camping!

Nice job. Our problem was with the dash unit. Our bedroom radio works fine now that I found the hidden "radio" switch along side of the bed. I also had to figure out that it wouldn't work with the "salesman switch" in the off position. So many things to figure out in these rigs. It would be nice if they would write a manual for each and every model number.

I agree... sometimes the manuals are "basic" at best, leaving much to the imagination... I'm finding that very common with most electrical/electronic items, and many automotive products. The "do it yourself" repairs are being eliminated on purpose...
