2004 Safari Cheetah 330 Cat - Air hookup ?

Hi ho..

Is there an air hose hookup for the purpose of tire inflation ? I have not run across one. On another note, I thought I was being slick and bought the little Ryobi 1 gallon battery powered compressor. It was anemic and not up to the task. I was hoping not to tote my 6 gallon compressor that is 110v - but seems I might have to. I am aware of the viair 12v compressors but I ain't retired and don't have all day

Advice appreciated

If you plan on inflating tires with your onboard air compressor it's going to take all day. I learned that the hard way which caused me to look for and find a NIB Viair on Craigslist for half price.[emoji3]

You should have an air hook up, in my case it is located in the same compartment as the propane tank, it will have a female quick connect fitting.

There should also be a male fitting located somewhere. This is used to charge the air system in case you have to be towed. A tow truck operator will use it to pressurize the system so the brakes can be released.

You can use your engine compressor to top off your tires but the trick is getting the compressor to cycle at the max pressure. I would only do this in an emergency. I just carry a small pancake type compressor which can easily top off my tires.

Fair enough that is likely what I will do as well. Cost of compressor I own = zero vs. pricey Viair hmmm decision made.
