2004 Windsor microwave removal ???

Can anyone tell me how to remove my over the range 30" convection oven microwave? Mine attaches in the slide and does not have another cabinet above it. All others I've done in residential applications have bolts holding them from the cabinet above the microwave.

I believe they are under the microwave at an angle. Remove filters maybe.

Do you have, or can you find on the Internet, the manual for the uwave? This may give you a hint on how to remove it.

Microwave removal

Just replaced my unit in June
Take the grease screen out and one long bolt on each side. May not come down if you have an extra screw that ran into cabinet on side. Mine was drilled into the left side of the unit. Otherwise fairly easy

Don't know what model microwave you have but here is a video showing the removal of a microwave held up with the 2 long screws as well as other changes he had to make.

On my Camelot, there are 2 long screws with hex heads, one on each side. They angle up, and when you unscrew them both, the microwave hinges down.
I used one of the foam wedges we use to lean against when reading in bed, to drop the microwave on to. Sounds crazy but it worked perfectly and, I was working alone. The back bottom edge of the microwave fits into a lip that is attached to the wall.
I installed a vent to the outside and that is why I needed to remove the MW.
The vent is one of the best improvements I have done to my coach. No more cooking odors or smoke blowing in my face, and the smoke alarm doesnít go off every time we cook now !!!

As mentioned they may hide some screws (wood) along the sides at a very difficult angle.

We just changed our microwave out. I put a towell on the counter and then a piece of wood. With a very small jack I was able to easily raise the microwave and then pull it and the jack forward where it was then easy for two people to carry it.

Keep in mind a replacement may need to have some space between the door hinge and the left side IF you have a refer there. The Sharp microwave/convection oven has been used for many years it seems and we found the exact replacement for ours. 2008 Endeavor. I wanted a bit fresher unit with a bit more space but we don't have to learn a new one and this one is actually excellent.

My tiny floor jack worked a treat doing the r&r.
