2004 Windsor Norcold 1200 icemaker

On our first trip the refer worked very well but the icemaker did not make ice. I was too busy learning about the other nuances to give it much thought. I was reading today’s posts and someone also had a problem and one of the replies stated that the icemaker water line may have a shut off for winterization.
Is this true for Monaco’s and if so where should I begin to look next time I visit her. FYI we are going to replace this with a residential before we go full time next year. TIA Russ

On my 2003 monaco if you follow the water line forward you may find a quarter turn valve that shuts the water off. This is on the outside of the coach behind the fridge access cover. Sometimes hard to turn so be careful you dont break the line. (Dont ask how I know). 🤣

On my 2002 Windsor it's under the kitchen sink

On my 05 Diplomat it is outside behind the fridge access panel.

For the record it never worked right and froze despite professional winterizing one year.

Send a message via ICQ to Ivylog
Near your water pump you may have a manifold with a dozen valves...one may be turned off. Often when mine would not make ice I had to add water to the tray to get it to start working.
