2005 Signature 42 Chateau Headlights
Does anyone know if some of the 2005 Signature 42 Chateau's were still built using the 2004 headlights?

If looking to replace them they should have a. DOT# on them. Google the # . Use phone camera couple angles to magnify. Or post a pic to see if members can identify.

The 2005 Signature has a completely different front cap. The BMW 525i headlights from a 2004 Signature will not fit.
Do you own this coach, or is it one you are looking at?
Post a picture of the front and we can tell you what year it is.

I am looking at buying it. The front end looks like the 2004 but the registration says 2005. Wondering if it could be built late in 2004 and registered as a 2005.

Another way to tell is to look at the interior lighting switch panels.
If they are backlit square Intellitec switches they are 2005. If they are small black rocker switches they are 2004.

Multiplex is a great way to tell. From the outside, the entry step on a 2004 is a single Kwikee step. 2005+ has a double step.

The 1999 Ford Expedition has 2 piece headlights. I think the 05 Sig uses the same headlights as 2003-05 Expedition. They look like this:
whereas the '99 ford Expedition lights look like these:
Here's a good reference: https://www.headlightsdepot.com/

The Intellitec switch panels are part of the multiplex wiring system introduced by Monaco in 2005 Signatures. I believe it was an option for the 05 Executive. By 2006 the Multiplex system was available in Signature, Executive and Dynasty models; later in other models if I recall.
