Tedvanlatten-

See if the diagram below helps.

The TV will not turn on if the engine is running.

There should be a "Box of Many Buttons" (BOMB) in the cabinet above the driver's seat. This is what allows you to switch TV inputs and outputs. In the diagram it's listed as "Video Switch Box."

Be on look out for GFCI between CB panel and TV if no power with motor off. You may want to post sat model and box, old systems are being phased out . Mix and match right dish , box and service. You might get it working on 1080p if it's kind of old.

Welcome to the forum.

The attached image is from the 2006 Admiral SE (not sure if there's a big difference between your model and the SE) owner's manual and you should find a similar or identical video control box in one of your overhead compartments. I'm not familiar with your model but somebody more knowledgeable should be able to tell you exactly where it's located.

It is the control box where you'd switch input from cable, to satellite, to antenna, etc. for the TV, VCR, 2nd TV.

You will most likely need to start your own service with a satellite service as it's specific to the person rather than the RV so in all likelihood, you will not be able to view satellite input without first contacting Dish or Direct, etc. and establishing an account and a service package.

You may also have a powered antenna with a gain knob on it. Make sure the input on the tv is set to antenna/cable and not DVD, sat, HDMI etc
