2006 Imperial - What Is This?
I was looking for the HWH air leveling auxiliary pump. But where I expected to find it, behind the front axle on the drivers side, I instead found this manifold with six solenoids and I have no idea what it is for. Attached are pics of the front and back. Can anyone identify it for me?
And if anyone knows off the top where that pump I am looking for is, I could use some help with that as well. I need to replace it.

Thats the air solenoid block for your air leveling system. should have one above front axle and one above rear axle. There are 6 electric air solenoids on each block, could have more with tag axle on rear. Orings often will be cause of air leak and can be changed to stop the leak.

Okay, thanks John. Mystery solved.
Now I just need to find that pump.

It should be in a "cage" maybe 10" x 12" x 12". The cage is just a bottom plate with braces up all four corners and a frame around the top. The pump is about the size of a container of Kraft Parmesan Cheese, and mounted on three shock absorbing feet within the cage and mounted to the bottom plate. It will also have a pressure switch, a small water separator and a solenoid for unloading at shut-down.
I would expect to find it either above your front axle area, or above your drive axle area, suspended from the "ceiling" or mounted to the wall of the adjacent basement compartment.

Thanks Jim,
I also thought above the front axle like on my last Monaco coach, but no joy. Nor in the front bay which is actually for fuel and propane. Didn't think it would be in the rear, but you might be right. I'll have to crawl under there and look. (Nasty place to work if it is there.) If not there, then I will have to start removing ceiling panels in the bays unless another Imperial owner steps up.
Too bad it is dead rather than crippled. Then I could listen for it.

On my 07 it was in the fuel tank bay on the passenger side. Easy to find as it always ran at 2am. Have not found the Aux air pump on my 04 as it never runs.

Vito.a, thanks. I looked again this afternoon in the fuel tank bay, both sides but no pump. I can tell you that on my previous coach, an 08 Signature, it was just behind the front axle, driver's side, on a plate attached to the framework. Out in the open, getting all the wheel spray, it was no surprise that it failed.

Stuart, on our '06 Dynasty I can look in from the passenger side, in front of and above the drive axle tire at about the 1:30 position and see it, very clearly. The attached picture was taken at that position on the passenger side drive axle tires.

Ouch, not happy about where that is mounted. I will verify today if mine is the same. If so, it might be best to go to a tire shop and park in their lot and have them pull the tires so I can get at it. I'll post what I find.
Thanks Jim.
