2006 Marquis

We were very close to buying one from TradWest NE of Denver, just a few months ago.

Besides/in addition to what already has been posted (and I'm sure more to come) the best way to determine the value is to visit that coach and test EVERYTHING on it!!! And I do mean everything.

As far as the asking price, what is this coaches:
1. Mileage
2. Condition of the exterior paint
3. Condition of the interior
a. The really fancy interior cabinetry is famous for de-laminating
b. Is it a tile and or carpeted floor - what's it's condition
4. Floor plan will become critical to your usage - TAKE YOUR WIFE/SO WITH YOU!!!

Best of fortunes to you. Let us know how things work out.

I agree with taking your wife. Over a year or so my wife became a near expert! She was able see/find things I couldn't.

I think the Marquis is one of the best coaches ever made. It is very similar to the Monaco Signature with a wood inlay interior. The only caution I found is most of the Cat engines in large coaches were averaging less than 5mpg over the life of the coach. The lowest average was a C15 coach that was averaging 4.6mpg. On the flip side, they have great power.
The Detroit 60 engine was an option and I did find 2 Marquis with it. They were both averaging mid 7 mpg.

A side note, the Holiday Rambler Navigator and the Monaco Executive are close cousins of the Marquis. They will have standard Cummins power or the optional Detroit series 60. You should expand your search to include them.
Happy hunting!
